Banking Portal of Natwest Group Gets Premium Security From Malwarebytes

 Malwarebytes is a company that is famous for its excellent end point protection and antimalware solutions for its customers. Recently, the company announced that it has been chosen by NatWest to secure its online portal being used by thousands of customers. NatWest Fraud Prevention Head Alasdair, expressing his happiness on the occasion, said that NatWest has become the first bank in U.K to provide such high level security to its customers. All that a customer needs to do to enjoy this enhanced security when using bank’s online banking portal is to download and install Malwarebytes support tool.

Good thing about this arrangement is that NatWest customers have to pay no money to get premium protection as they get a free license to use Malwarebytes online support. However, this protection is applicable to only the use of online banking portal of NatWest and not when they are surfing the web or downloading programs from other websites on the web.

According to Alasdair, consumer safety and security has always been of paramount importance for NatWest Bank. With this step, NatWest shows its commitment towards its customers once again. NatWest customers have given a very warm response to this scheme since its announcement. Within a few days, the program offering Malwarebytes support has been downloaded by more than a hundred thousand consumers of NatWest Bank. Bank is planning to increase awareness about this move to encourage more consumers to download and install Malwarebytes Premium in their computers.

On their part, Malwarebytes have expressed happiness to be chosen as a partner by NatWest for enhancing the safety and security of its customers. Malwarebytes CEO Marcin Kleczynski has said that enhanced security will bring peace of mind to the customers of NatWest and they will be able to operate the online features offered by the bank in a more productive manner. There is no doubt about the fact that threat landscape has assumed serious proportions in the last few years and this new security arrangement by NatWest is going to help its customers in a big way. Marcin said that Malwarebytes is thrilled to play its part in this social endeavour that aims to enhance the safety of customers in a novel manner.

Under this new scheme introduced by NatWest, security from Malwarebytes Premium will be available for free on up to 10 devices for users of personal banking facilities. On the other hand, business clients of NatWest will get this security on up to 30 devices for free. Customers of NatWest can download Malwarebytes support tool in their computer after logging in to the online portal of NatWest Bank. In addition to customers of NatWest Bank, this important security feature is being made available to customers of some other banks like Isle of Man, Royal Bank of Scotland, and Ulster Bank.
